DETAILS
For 35 years, Levine Museum of the New South has served as a place where history sparks conversation, inspires learning, and brings people together across generations and lived experiences. Catalyst: Tastes of the New South continues that tradition through an evening of storytelling, culinary insight, and shared connection—using food as a powerful lens into the evolving story of the South. Hosted by WBTV's Alex Giles and Natisha Lance, this evening will feature a dynamic panel conversation with: Dave Borghesani, Mars Snacking North America Chief Historian Adrian Miller, award-winning culinary author Reyaña Radcliff, Your Braisen Chef Hanna Raskin, food journalist and founder of The Food Section Together, their voices will spark dialogue about identity, memory, innovation, global influence, and the powerful role food plays in shaping community and culture. The evening will conclude with a sit-down dinner prepared by the culinary team of Grand Bohemian Hotel, creating space for meaningful conversation, reflection, and connection. As part of the Museum’s 35th Anniversary, this Catalyst experience is also a vital investment in what comes next. Proceeds support the Museum’s ability to expand access to history, deepen community dialogue, grow innovative digital and in-person experiences, and remain a welcoming civic space for all. This evening is designed to: Spark Conversation Inspire Learning Bring People Together
