Campers will uncover the delicious story behind one of the world’s favorite treats. Activities include creating art inspired by ancient Mesoamerican designs, trying simple hands-on experiments using chocolate, and exploring how chocolate-making has changed over time. By the end of the week, campers will be ready to share the surprising, flavorful history behind the world’s most beloved treat. Please note; the itinerary for the two weeks of Young Historians Academy Summer Camp are the same. Please only register for one week of the camp as a courtesy to other potential campers.
